Packaging Solutions

Let me share with you on my 40 years of packaging experience. Started my working career with 2 MNCs. Initially with William Jacks (S) Pte Ltd in the 70s as Senior Sales Executive and heading the Materials Handling and Packaging Division. Later joined Gerrard Signode Pte Ltd in the 80s as the Divisional Manager in charge of Marking and Fastening Division. Both William Jacks and Gerrard Signode were representing and distributing Signode, Marsh, Paslode, Haubold products. Started my own business about 25 years ago. Consolidated Diagraph Marking, Josef Kihlberg Stapling and Strapping Equipment and ROL Pte Ltd (Shop Fitting and Shelving products) into ANW Pte Ltd about 10 years ago. Worked with many customers from MNCs and SMEs locally and regionally. Provided packaging solutions for their export and overseas shipments. Load Securing - Lashing

It is important to lash and secure your load in the container to prevent injuries to the cargoes handlers when opening the container doors or avoid damage to the goods during shipment. You can use lashing to secure and fasten your loads in the container to prevent movement of your loads during handling, transporting and shipping. If your finished products are value-added and packed in a uniform size and shape, such as, palletized loads, we propose and recommend you to consider using air bags. 

Contract Packing - Palletizing

ANW provides packaging solutions not only on technical know-how, supply of materials and equipment; strapping - steel and polyester, marking - stenciling, labeling, coding and ink-jet printing, fastening - stapling and nailing. We have diversified and can supply both materials and labour to pack your finished products for export and overseas shipments in your warehouse. We adopt 3R approach in our packing - reduce, reuse and recycle to save and protect our environment. For new start-up or SME, if the export volume does not justify to buy or invest in the materials or manpower, they can consider to outsource their packing operations to ANW.  

 

Pallet transporter for rack storage

I was quite impressed on what I saw and learned recently on the pallet transporter for racking storage in the warehouse. A very simple and easy to maintain remote control pallet transporter for moving pallet on heavy duty racking for storage on first in, first out system. The pallet transporter can be used for lower deck and upper deck racking. 

 

Continuing Education

Can you recognise the architecture and landscape in the photos? It was the old Bukit Timah campus of former University of Singapore (SU) and is now partially occupied by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policies and NUS Law School.

                                         

 

Attended a public lecture at LKY School of Public Policy this morning and the title of the talk is "Taking 1000 Years of History into the Future. The speaker was Mr Petochi Michele. The talk was informative and educational.
