ANW sounds synonymous to A&W

Sometimes we received phone calls in the office asking for home delivery on the A&W food and beverages. We have to explain to the callers that ANW is in the industrial packaging business. My daughter told me that there is A&W in Batam, Indonesia. Out of curiosity and to satisfy my appetite for genuine A&W roots beer, fried chicken and hotdog, we went to celebrate our Christmas over there in Batam. It was about 30 years ago that I last ate at the A&W restaurant in Dunearn Road along Bukit Timah canal, opposite former Singapore University (now NUS Bukit Timah campus). We have much fun and enjoyed ourselves at the A&W in Batam. Think of A&W, you will remember of ANW, named after my 3 children; Audrey, Nicholas and Walter.

Cut Stencil Service
